Keeping track of your animals’ temperatures is a great way to catch problems early. The Farm Jenny app makes it easy to capture and record temperatures for each of your animals. You can also download and share your animals’ temperature log with a barn owner, boarding client, or veterinarian.
Using a Bluetooth Thermometer
If you have a Supported Thermometer, please follow these instructions. Otherwise, enter a Manual Reading.

Start a Reading
Select the thermometer icon at the top of the animal's detail screen to begin a new reading.

Select Your Thermometer
A list of Bluetooth thermometers in range will be displayed. If there are more than one, the closest thermometer should be at the top. If you don't see your thermometer, confirm it is powered on and press RETRY.

Take the Reading
Take your animal's temperature. The Bluetooth thermometer will automatically start a new reading and the in-progress readings will be displayed in the app. Wait for the thermometer to signal that the reading is complete before removing the thermometer.

Confirm the Reading
When the thermometer beeps and the app says "Temperature reading complete", you may remove the thermometer. Confirm the value in the app matches what is shown on the Thermometer itself and press SAVE.
